Prevention Coordinator

The Prevention Coordinator works onsite in Standish, MI. Pay is $21–$25 per hour. The role supports Ten Sixteen Recovery Network’s community substance-use prevention and early-intervention work. The coordinator mobilizes local coalitions and partners to deliver education, evidence-based prevention programs, and community awareness activities. The role also evaluates program effectiveness and maintains plans and reporting needed to meet service and funding requirements.

What you'll do

• Coordinate substance-use prevention coalitions, including recruitment, membership, meetings, events, and communications
• oversee coalition education and training
• mobilize volunteers for awareness events and advocacy
• implement adopted evidence-based programs and curricula
• develop and monitor the agency prevention plan
• conduct pre- and post-testing
• provide office-based education to first-time offenders as needed
• coordinate retailer education and compliance checks related to tobacco sales to minors
• submit demographic and billing data
• conduct community needs assessments and stakeholder interviews
• provide technical assistance to coalitions and workgroups.
