What you'll do

• Obtain and document medical and eye histories in the EHR
• prepare examination and treatment rooms
• perform patient screening and testing, with training, including visual acuity, color vision, auto-lensometry, autorefraction, tonometry, Amsler grid, and pupil evaluation
• administer eye medications
• maintain and calibrate ophthalmic and surgical instruments with training
• and drive independently to other facilities. May assist physicians during minor surgical procedures.
