Job overview

Compensation is $2,088–$2,196 per hour. The Registered Nurse, Behavioral Health role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN. The nurse supports the emergency department mental health suite, caring for high-acuity adult mental health patients, including neurodiverse patients and non-verbal patients with autism. The nurse delivers coordinated acute care and supports patient safety in a closed observation setting. The role contributes to care through clinical monitoring, documentation, and familiarity with the equipment and procedures used in the suite.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care for adults ages 18–65 in the closed observation suite
• support high-acuity mental health patients, including neurodiverse non-verbal patients
• use relevant equipment including restraint chair, Hover Jack, duress badges, IV pump, feeding pump, and NG tubes
• maintain clinical care and patient safety. BLS is required
• Minnesota fingerprints are required before starting onsite.
