What you'll do

• Provide bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding assistance
• prepare and serve simple diets
• assist with transfers and walking
• keep the patient’s living area orderly
• perform light housekeeping and patient laundry as needed
• complete ordered range-of-motion procedures when competency requirements are met
• record care activities
• participate in case conferences
• report changes to the supervising nurse. CNAs are not allowed to administer medications.
