Direct Support Professional — Saturday Overnight

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Newton, NJ, with a Saturday 9:00 p.m.–Sunday 9:00 a.m. overnight schedule. Pay is $25 per hour. The position supports a person living independently at Rebecca’s Homestead. The DSP provides individualized hands-on support while respecting the person’s choices, routines, privacy, and independence. The work helps the person participate in everyday life and community activities, with communication primarily through a communication board.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care, including bathing, toileting, hygiene, and assistance getting in and out of bed
• administer medication through a G-tube
• prepare meals
• assist with laundry and light housekeeping
• care for the household cat
• support community activities and outings, including wheelchair assistance
• provide companionship and encouragement.
