Environmental, Health & Safety Plant Manager is an onsite role in Aberdeen, MD. The listed salary range is $109,400–$210,000 per year for Zone A; other location zones have different ranges. The role is part of the site leadership team and leads environmental, health, and safety programs at Clorox’s manufacturing operation. The manager sets site HSE direction, develops the team, and oversees compliance, risk reduction, and sustainability work. By partnering with operations, engineering, maintenance, and corporate EHS leadership, the role supports safe production, regulatory compliance, and the site’s Zero Loss objectives.

What you'll do

• Lead site HSE strategy and promote a proactive Zero Loss culture
• coach and develop the HSE team, Safety Committee, and plant leaders
• oversee compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable requirements
• lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions
• serve as primary site contact for regulatory agencies, inspections, audits, and reporting
• advance waste reduction, resource conservation, and Zero Waste to Landfill objectives
• develop and report HSE metrics
• conduct risk assessments and site audits
• improve HSE systems and training
• partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance
• integrate HSE requirements into capital projects.
