Operations Intern – Flatbed Division

Job overview

The Operations Intern role is onsite in Birmingham, AL, with onboarding and orientation in Cedar Rapids, IA during the first couple of weeks. Compensation is not specified. The summer internship is part of CRST’s Early Talent Program and supports the Flatbed Division’s transportation operations.

What you'll do

• Gain hands-on experience with company processes and day-to-day operations
• learn and apply transportation management practices
• assist with improving asset and equipment utilization
• collaborate across departments
• handle multiple tasks and solve problems
• and complete a project to present to senior leaders at the end of the summer. Potential teams include account management, operations, and pricing.
