Engineering Project Manager

The Engineering Project Manager role is based in the Portland, OR region. Compensation is $125,000–$150,000 per year. Harris Group delivers engineering projects across sectors including semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, life science, biofuels, chemical plants, aerospace, and ports facilities. The project manager leads multidisciplinary engineering projects from planning through delivery, balancing scope, budget, schedule, staffing, quality, and safety. The role also maintains client relationships, manages project finances, mentors staff, and contributes discipline-specific engineering design.

What you'll do

• Build client relationships, identify projects, and develop proposals
• participate in contract negotiations and reviews
• establish project scope, budget, schedule, staffing, procedures, QA/QC and safety plans, CAD standards, and design criteria
• manage budgets, invoices, payments, disputes, and changes
• coordinate project communications
• foster teamwork among staff, clients, vendors, and contractors
• mentor staff
• provide discipline design for single- and multidisciplinary projects
• travel or accept client-site assignments up to 20% when required.
