This senior individual-contributor role builds and improves reproducible, high-performance tools and pipelines for analyzing complete human genomes across large cohorts. It applies scientific rigor and software engineering to support variant evaluation, biomarker discovery, complex-disease research, oncology applications, and AI-assisted genomic analysis.

What you'll do

• Evaluate large cohorts of assembled human genomes across variant types and develop quality metrics for variant calls.
• Contribute to and maintain a scalable, reproducible cohort-analysis platform.
• Drive research and diagnostic applications, collaborate with scientists and clinicians, apply and evaluate AI and machine-learning methods, review scientific literature, benchmark approaches, and improve algorithms and code.
