The Dietitian — Two-Facility Coverage role is onsite in Houghton, NY, and is shared between two facilities. Pay is $33–$35 per hour. Houghton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center provides rehabilitation and nursing care. The dietitian assesses residents’ nutrition needs and delivers care in accordance with physician or nurse practitioner orders and facility standards. The role supports resident safety and quality improvement through care planning, therapeutic diet coordination, and participation in facility inspections.

What you'll do

• Assess residents’ nutrition status and needs
• interpret data and modify care plans
• provide nutrition care, including for residents receiving enteral feeding
• conduct meal rounds, test trays, and menu checks
• support resident self-management
• help implement quality assurance processes
• coordinate therapeutic diets with the Food Service Director
• make referrals
• participate in inspections
• report changes in resident condition or care issues to nursing supervisors.
