What you'll do

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical oncology PCU patients
• monitor high-acuity patients and interpret cardiac rhythms
• respond to changes in condition
• administer medications, blood products, and prescribed treatments
• manage cardiac drips, lines, ports, tubes, and respiratory support as indicated
• collaborate on care plans
• activate rapid response when necessary
• document care
• follow infection and fall prevention protocols
• educate patients and families
• float to equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed.
