What you'll do

  • Measure and document vital signs
  • identify patient concerns and report them to care team members
  • assist with mobility, turning, and daily personal needs
  • keep rooms tidy and sanitized
  • monitor vital signs, EKG signals, and patient condition
  • assist nursing staff with basic treatments
  • maintain supplies and clean linen
  • provide emotional support
  • place patients on cardiac monitors
  • empty drains, ostomies, and Foley bags
  • perform blood sugar checks.
