The Compassion Navigator role is onsite in Cleveland, OH, and starts at $17 per hour. At Norma Herr Women’s Center, the YWCA of Greater Cleveland provides a low-barrier emergency shelter for adult women and trauma-informed support, shelter, meals, and stabilization.

What you'll do

• Provide direct support to shelter guests, including check-ins and basic-needs assistance
• complete intake packets, incident reports, shift reports, and required documentation
• offer emotional support and crisis intervention and connect guests to appropriate services
• use trauma-informed care and de-escalation techniques
• support shelter operations, including meals, laundry, donations, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
