School Psychologist (Hybrid)

The School Psychologist (Hybrid) role is based in Dunkirk, MD, supporting Calvert County Public Schools in a hybrid arrangement. Compensation is $80 per hour. Strides Therapy and Educational Services provides support services to schools and students, with a focus on students’ academic and emotional success. The psychologist evaluates students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs and works with educators and families on individualized education and behavior plans. The role also provides counseling, consultation, prevention, crisis intervention, and school-wide mental health support.

What you'll do

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
• collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff on IEPs and BIPs
• provide counseling and interventions
• participate in multidisciplinary teams
• consult with and train school personnel
• support prevention programs and crisis intervention
• maintain confidential records.
