What you'll do

• Prepare and serve meals according to menus, recipes, and therapeutic diet requirements
• follow food-safety regulations
• maintain food quality, portions, presentation, and timing
• review production sheets, census, and menus
• prepare modified and texture-altered diets as directed
• monitor food temperatures
• follow sanitation, cleaning, storage, labeling, and handwashing procedures
• maintain kitchen areas and equipment.
