What you'll do
- Greet customers and provide service at the counter and by phone
- identify customer needs and products
- use catalogs and computer systems to look up automotive products
- provide pricing, availability, options, and estimated arrival information
- process sales, invoices, returns, exchanges, credits, and special orders
- communicate order updates
- recommend related products when useful
- monitor stock and report inventory needs
- maintain an organized counter
- follow procedures for pricing, returns, warranties, inventory, and cash handling
- research and resolve customer concerns and order discrepancies.
