What you'll do

• Manage, reconcile, and audit inventory
• support month-end closing and prepare reports
• analyze manufacturing variances in material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, and scrap
• compare actual and standard costs
• oversee inventory valuation and reconciliation for raw materials, work in process, and finished goods
• prepare journal entries and reconcile inventory accounts
• partner with engineering and manufacturing personnel on bills of materials, routing, and standard costs
• support cycle counts and physical inventory audits
• improve cost accounting systems and procedures
• assist with financial planning, fixed assets, tax reporting, and parent-company reporting
• provide backup support for general accounting.

Why this role

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and at least three years of finance/accounting experience required; SAP and advanced Excel preferred; CPA strongly preferred.
