Field Biologist — Variable Part-Time

What you'll do

• Conduct general biological reconnaissance, habitat assessments, and focused surveys for sensitive species
• perform nesting bird surveys and monitoring
• monitor biological and environmental compliance during construction
• coordinate with construction crews and project managers on permit conditions and environmental commitments
• complete pre-construction surveys and daily monitoring documentation
• provide environmental awareness and sensitive-species education
• collect field data, photographs, GPS points, and observations
• manage biological records
• interpret permit conditions and regulatory documents
• communicate observations and compliance concerns.
