Information Security Analyst

The Information Security Analyst role is onsite at TransPecos Banks’ downtown San Antonio, TX headquarters. Compensation is not specified. The analyst protects the bank’s digital assets and infrastructure, including cloud infrastructure, and supports information security risk management and regulatory compliance. The role monitors security systems, investigates incidents, assesses vulnerabilities and risks, and supports identity and access management. It also maintains security policies and documentation, reports risk and compliance metrics, and helps ensure internal controls and resilience plans are effective.

What you'll do

• Monitor security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and endpoint protection systems
• investigate incidents and support root-cause analysis and remediation
• conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• support secure development lifecycle processes
• manage cloud security processes for Azure and AWS
• monitor regulatory and threat developments
• maintain policies and standards
• develop documentation, playbooks, and training
• manage security awareness
• perform internal and vendor risk assessments
• support business continuity and disaster recovery testing
• process access requests and provisioning
• report metrics and remediation status
• support audits and regulatory reviews.
