Senior Proposal Writer/Proposal Specialist

The Senior Proposal Writer/Proposal Specialist role is hybrid, based in one of SOCOTEC’s Florida offices, including Tampa, Naples, Fort Lauderdale, Coral Gables, or Orlando, with at least four in-office days per week and up to one remote day. Compensation is not specified. The role supports SOCOTEC’s building envelope, sustainability, energy efficiency, code advisory, commissioning, and fire/life safety practices. The writer develops and coordinates proposal and qualification packages for public-sector and municipal clients. By gathering technical input, ensuring compliance and quality, and coordinating with internal teams and clients, the role helps present SOCOTEC’s expertise and support regional business development.

What you'll do

• Review proposal and qualification requests
• identify service line leaders for scope and fee input
• develop technical proposals and qualifications packages
• research and gather information
• review estimates and proposals for client compliance
• collaborate with Legal and Finance
• quality-check proposals
• liaise with clients and prospects
• maintain client and project data in Deltek
• refine templates, narratives, and graphics.
