Outside Sales Representative

Job overview

The Outside Sales Representative is primarily field-based in Clinton, PA, with remote work flexibility and a designated home branch. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with additional hours as needed; compensation is not specified. The role supports Schaedler Yesco Distribution’s sales of lighting, datacomm, automation, and industrial products and services. The representative develops customer relationships and account plans across North Central Pennsylvania, promotes relevant products and services, and manages sales activity and forecasts. The role contributes to territory growth by identifying customer needs, presenting solutions, and working toward sales quotas and account objectives.

What you'll do

• Promote and sell applicable company products and services to prospective and assigned customers
• develop customer-specific sales plans
• build relationships with customer stakeholders
• schedule joint sales calls with company specialists and vendor representatives
• profile accounts, identify customer needs and opportunities, and maintain account business plans
• enter sales activity and customer information in the CRM
• submit forecasts and expense reports
• maintain product and business-system knowledge
• support collections on delinquent accounts
• provide emergency service and delivery as required.
