Job overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant works onsite in Evanston, IL, in the Skilled Nursing Department. The full-time schedule is 7 a.m.–3 p.m. with every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Pay is $20.35–$29.30 per hour based on experience, plus shift and weekend differentials. Westminster Place is a mission-driven community focused on personalized resident care. Under nurse supervision, the CNA provides direct and indirect care to residents, assists with activities of daily living, and supports residents’ social and recreational needs. The role contributes to resident well-being through attentive care, communication, and respect for residents’ rights.
What you'll do
- Carry out nursing care within training and ability as assigned by the charge nurse
- follow nursing department policies and standards of care
- protect residents’ rights
- communicate with coworkers, supervisors, employees, and visitors
- build relationships with residents
- assist with activities of daily living
- perform other related duties as assigned by the charge nurse.

Why this role
Requires current Illinois nursing assistant certification and American Heart Association CPR certification. Long-term care experience is preferred but not required.
