The Production & Sanitation Manager, 3rd Shift works onsite at a food manufacturing facility in Central Pennsylvania. Compensation is $110,000–$125,000 per year. The role leads overnight production and sanitation operations in a regulated food manufacturing environment. The manager ensures sanitation, food safety, equipment readiness, and production performance are coordinated. The role develops frontline teams, addresses operational issues, and drives improvements in safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Lead third-shift production and sanitation operations
• manage and develop sanitation, production, and frontline leadership staff
• ensure cleaning and sanitation meet SSOP, GMP, HACCP, and food-safety requirements
• coordinate sanitation with production schedules
• partner with quality, maintenance, production, engineering, and plant leadership
• monitor operating metrics
• address bottlenecks and recurring issues
• oversee chemical safety
• support pre-operational inspections and corrective actions
• investigate sanitation and food-safety concerns
• train employees
• maintain staffing and assignments
• drive continuous improvement
• document shift results and communicate with incoming shifts.

Why this role
