What you'll do

• Lead estimating
• analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and related documents
• prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
• coordinate with field personnel on requests for information, change orders, and technical issues
• prepare estimates for hard-bid, negotiated, and design/build projects
• support job packaging, scheduling, cost tracking, and permitting
• estimate labor, materials, equipment, and buyout costs
• conduct quantity takeoffs
• attend pre-bid meetings
• incorporate safety into estimating decisions
• maintain supplier, subcontractor, owner, and general contractor relationships
• support project managers with risk and cost assessment and buyout.
