Funeral Assistant, Part-Time

What you'll do

• Prepare chapels and viewing areas
• assist with dignified placement and movement of caskets and the deceased
• distribute service materials
• greet and guide guests
• support grieving families and respond to requests
• transport deceased individuals and drive funeral vehicles
• maintain transfer documentation and chain of custody
• clean public spaces and vehicles
• report maintenance needs
• may assist with phones, scheduling, and light paperwork.
