Through observation, documentation, intentional teaching, and partnership with families and colleagues, the teacher helps foster children’s independence, curiosity, confidence, and school readiness.

What you'll do

• Actively supervise children and maintain a safe, nurturing classroom
• build respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• observe, assess, and respond to developmental and learning needs
• plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• document and communicate about children’s progress
• follow HighScope, COR Advantage, Wisconsin DCF, NAEYC, and YoungStar requirements
• maintain required training and certifications.
