Characterization Scientist

The Characterization Scientist role is onsite in Andover, MA, with compensation of $22–$27 per hour. Eurofins provides analytical testing services intended to help make products and the environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable. The scientist characterizes biotherapeutic candidates and supports formulation and process development from preclinical and early clinical stages through commercialization. Analytical testing, data verification, and laboratory support help multidisciplinary teams assess stability and progress candidates.

What you'll do

• Support development of parenteral formulations for biotherapeutics
• characterize candidate molecules using biophysical, biochemical, and particulate techniques, including chromatography and spectroscopy
• provide laboratory support through reagent ordering, equipment maintenance, improvement activities, and inspections
• collaborate with scientists on formulation optimization and candidate progression
• prepare data summaries and presentations, verify and compile data, and use laboratory data systems and electronic notebooks.

Why this role

Requires at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or technical field and one or more years of industry experience using chromatography, preferably HPLC. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed.
