What you'll do

• Fabricate prototype low- and high-voltage wire harnesses
• interpret schematics, wiring tables, drawings, and engineering instructions
• cut, strip, crimp, splice, solder, seal, label, and protect wiring
• install harnesses and electrical components
• perform vehicle retrofits and wiring modifications
• conduct electrical tests and troubleshoot faults
• document revisions and work
• coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, technicians, and suppliers
• follow high-voltage safety procedures when applicable.
