Make Ready Technician

Job overview

The Make Ready Technician role is onsite in North Charleston, SC, paying $20–$25 per hour. The position supports Meridian Residential Group’s residential rental properties by preparing units for incoming tenants. The technician inspects vacant units, identifies needed work, and completes repairs and cleaning tasks to meet turnaround schedules and quality expectations. The work helps ensure each unit is safe, move-in ready, and appealing, supporting tenant satisfaction and retention.

What you'll do

• Inspect vacant residential units and assess maintenance and repair needs
• complete painting, drywall repair, flooring replacement, appliance installation, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs
• coordinate priorities and work orders with property management
• record work performed, materials used, and time spent
• follow safety standards and company policies and maintain an organized work area.
