What you'll do

• Source, quote, and purchase fabricated parts and commercial components
• interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and bills of materials
• develop supplier relationships and evaluate supplier capabilities
• negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times
• track purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory
• coordinate with engineering and assembly teams on sourcing and materials issues
• recommend procurement process improvements
• assist with inventory planning and forecasting
• maintain ERP/MRP purchasing records
• and manage RFP/RFQ processes.
