Senior Project Manager, Commercial Construction

The Senior Project Manager, Commercial Construction role is onsite in South Hill, VA, with availability to report to multiple job sites as assigned. Compensation is $120,000–$150,000 per year. Atlantic Constructors is an industry leader in the Mid-Atlantic Region and has operated for more than 50 years. The role provides overall management direction for two or more projects, overseeing project teams and construction activities to meet quality, schedule, budget and safety objectives. It also supports estimating, client relationships, project documentation, subcontractor coordination and new business development.

What you'll do

• Plan and organize project staffing
• establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards
• liaise with clients and architects or engineers
• assist with estimating work packages
• monitor construction schedules and budgets
• investigate serious issues and implement corrective measures
• represent the company in project meetings
• review productivity and labor reports
• maintain schedules, submittal logs and close-out documents
• coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, permits and construction meetings
• manage quality, safety, payment and project documentation
• monitor staffing needs and performance.
