What you'll do

• Develop sourcing strategies for materials, components, supplies, and services
• evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers
• lead competitive sourcing and analyze proposals
• negotiate pricing, lead times, payment and commercial terms
• identify cost-reduction opportunities and supply risks
• monitor supplier performance
• develop alternate sources
• partner with Engineering, Quality, Production, Finance, and Operations
• provide functional guidance to the Purchasing Agent
• improve procurement processes and maintain documentation.
