RF Test and Automation Engineer

Job overview

The RF Test and Automation Engineer role is onsite in San Francisco, CA, with compensation of $85,000–$150,000 annually. Elve develops and manufactures high-efficiency, lightweight millimeter-wave and near-THz RF power amplifiers for wireless communications applications. The engineer develops and maintains RF test procedures and software frameworks used in production and engineering testing. The work helps translate product requirements into repeatable tests and improves test coverage, repeatability, and throughput across engineering and manufacturing teams.

What you'll do

• Develop RF test procedures from engineering and product requirements
• automate testing with reusable software frameworks
• maintain test software for data acquisition, processing, logging, and reporting
• interface with RF test equipment
• troubleshoot software, instrumentation, test setup, and hardware issues
• collaborate with RF, test, manufacturing, and product engineers
• document test methods and results
• prepare for and participate in live customer product demonstrations.

Why this role
