Fresh Market Lead – Eataly Houston

Job overview

The Fresh Market Lead – Eataly Houston role is onsite in Houston, TX, at the new store. Compensation is $19–$21 per hour. Eataly is an Italian food and beverage marketplace where guests can eat, shop, and learn about products and cuisine. The market lead coordinates with the Store Operations Manager and Market team to keep merchandise stocked and attractively displayed. The role supports guest satisfaction and retail sales through product knowledge, inventory and merchandising practices, and guidance for Market Associates.

What you'll do

• Stock, rotate, and face products according to department standards
• coordinate with the warehouse to maintain stock and organize back stock
• follow ordering and inventory procedures and verify deliveries and invoices
• assist with delegating tasks, supervising, training, and motivating Market Associates
• maintain signage, pricing, and labels
• remove expired or damaged merchandise
• communicate grocery needs and issues
• assess food waste and divert it to donations
• coordinate product demonstrations with Guest Relations, Grocery, and Events & Education
• maintain clean and safe work conditions and perform light cleaning.
