What you'll do

• Set up and operate machining equipment
• perform machine and conveyor start-up, raw-material loading, and shutdown
• adjust tooling and fixtures
• complete records and forms
• inspect parts visually and dimensionally
• clean chips from tooling and parts
• report malfunctions and discrepancies
• preset tooling
• perform machine maintenance
• correct setup, nonconformance, tooling, and machining problems
• suggest process changes
• repair, replace, or modify equipment when required.
