Compensation is $37–$45 per year. The Reefer Mechanic role is an onsite position based in Alpharetta, GA. This role exists to ensure the safety and reliability of the company's fleet by performing preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel reefer equipment. The mechanic is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration systems, as well as mentoring other shop personnel.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel reefer equipment including Thermo King and Carrier systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer standards.
- Mentor other maintenance shop personnel.
- Document repairs using fleet maintenance software.
