What you'll do
- Operate CO2, YAG, or flat-cut laser equipment to machine parts
- work from sketches, setup sheets, and related documents
- monitor laser operations for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
- report process and dimensional deviations
- inspect finished work using measuring equipment such as micrometers, pin gauges, and verniers
- deburr parts as needed.
