The Insulator Installation Mechanical Technician role is onsite at work sites in the Wausau area of Central Wisconsin. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour starting, with potential to earn up to $36 per hour; uncommon second-shift and weekend hours carry a $3 differential, and overnight hours carry a $4 differential. The role supports commercial insulation installation across the region. The technician installs insulation on ducts, pipes, tanks, and related mechanical systems, helping complete construction work safely and to specification. The schedule varies with work and travel; the typical week is first shift, eight hours a day, five days a week.

What you'll do

• Measure and secure fiberglass insulation
• install ducts, pipes, and some tanks
• operate scissor lifts and work on roofs and ladders
• follow construction safety practices
• clean job sites
• complete job-related paperwork
• perform other duties as instructed by a supervisor.
