Job overview
The Electronics Test Technician I/II role is an onsite position in Torrance, CA, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Compensation is $25–$36 per hour. The technician joins Intellisense Systems’ Operations Team, which supports products for aerospace, defense, and commercial markets. The technician operates and troubleshoots test systems used to verify integrated electro-optical and mechanical systems. The role performs functional and production testing, documents results and failure analysis, supports product introduction and production transitions, and works with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to improve test processes.
What you'll do
- Perform board- and system-level programming, functional, ATP, and EOL testing
- troubleshoot electronic, electrical, optical, and electromechanical assemblies
- conduct failure analysis and document findings
- set up and maintain test equipment and fixtures
- support new product introduction, prototypes, engineering evaluations, and qualification testing
- perform optical alignment and fiber-optic inspection and cleaning
- document test data
- collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing
- perform assembly and rework as needed.

Why this role
Open to Level I and Level II candidates; Level I works under routine supervision, while Level II independently troubleshoots complex assemblies and may provide technical guidance. Occasional overtime and weekend shifts may be required.
