What you'll do

• Explain ultrasound procedures to patients
• maintain equipment and procedure areas
• perform probe disinfection as required
• conduct ultrasound examinations and capture images of the appropriate anatomy
• evaluate image quality
• present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team
• maintain patient records and procedure notes
• follow safety, emergency preparedness, infection control, OSHA, fire safety, and hazardous materials policies.
