What you'll do

• Prepare food according to menus, special diet plans, and facility standards
• serve meals on time at proper temperatures
• use safe cooking, holding, and storage practices
• assist with menu planning and food orders
• check menu availability three days ahead
• prepare food for special meals and events
• clean work areas and equipment
• record food and equipment temperatures and daily production
• report damaged equipment
• complete monthly departmental in-services and follow infection-control policies.
