The Advocate Camp Counselor, Children with Disabilities — Summer role is onsite in Newton, MA, with a stated pay range of $15–$17 per hour. The role supports JCC Greater Boston’s Inclusion Team in helping campers with disabilities participate fully in camp activities. The counselor works with campers and co-counselors to provide individualized support guided by camper plans, promote safety and independence, and adapt assistance as needed so each camper can take part in bunk life and camp programming.

What you'll do

• Partner with co-counselors to implement accommodations from Individual Camper Plans
• advocate for campers’ strengths, needs, and abilities
• support participation in arts, sports, swimming, and events
• help ensure camper safety and well-being
• communicate with co-counselors and leadership
• attend assigned meetings and training.
