Cloud Architect

The Cloud Architect role is onsite near Albany, NY. Compensation is up to $165,000 per year. The role works with infrastructure, security, application, and business partners to shape identity and cloud architecture. The role exists to set technical direction for secure, resilient identity, cloud, and collaboration environments. It combines hands-on engineering with strategy and leadership to modernize access management, application hosting, infrastructure, and Microsoft collaboration services.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain enterprise identity solutions across on-premises directories and cloud identity services
• manage synchronization, federation, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, and conditional access
• define identity lifecycle, role-based access, and privileged access approaches
• lead identity modernization and migration projects
• design Azure solutions and cloud adoption roadmaps
• architect infrastructure across Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, storage, networking, and data centers
• integrate cloud and on-premises systems
• architect Microsoft 365 services
• apply Zero Trust principles
• build automation with PowerShell, Azure Automation, and Microsoft Graph
• mentor engineers and advise on strategic initiatives.
