Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Paxton, IL, and pays $15–$17 per hour. The aide is part of the culinary team at Accolade Healthcare of Paxton Senior Living, serving residents, visitors, and employees. The role supports resident dining by preparing food and trays, delivering meals, and maintaining clean kitchen and dining areas. Accurate meal preparation and service help the facility meet residents’ meal requests and physicians’ orders.

What you'll do

• Prepare tray lines and food for service
• puree food as needed
• place food and beverages on trays according to meal requests or physicians’ orders
• stock carts
• deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas
• rotate stock
• clear and sanitize tables
• clean carts and kitchen equipment
• wash dishes
• and prepare kitchen and dining rooms for the next meal. A Food Handlers Certification is or will be required, and the role must work a weekend and holiday rotation.
