The Commercial Roofing Estimator role is onsite and field-based in the Greater Los Angeles area, CA. The base salary is $100,000, plus benefits. The position supports an established commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor’s Southern California team and works closely with the Chief Estimator. The estimator prepares takeoffs, scopes, estimates, and proposals for commercial roofing and waterproofing projects. The role combines field inspections and technical assessments with blueprint and specification review, project pricing, documentation, and coordination with estimating, operations, and management teams.

What you'll do

• Prepare takeoffs, estimates, scopes of work, and proposals
• review drawings, specifications, blueprints, and project documents
• use estimating and takeoff software
• identify labor, material, equipment, access, and logistical needs
• inspect commercial roofs and assess conditions
• document field findings
• recommend repair, maintenance, restoration, or replacement solutions
• communicate with internal teams
• support project handoffs and field documentation.
