• evaluate, onboard, consolidate, and develop suppliers
• negotiate contracts and commercial terms across regions and currencies
• manage cost competitiveness, purchase price variance, hedging coordination, and commodity-market risk
• harmonize specifications with R&D and Food Safety & Quality
• plan for supply continuity and mitigate risks
• manage supplier performance and category innovation and sustainability
• use market intelligence to inform timing, coverage, and contract decisions.
