The Produce Assistant role is onsite in Beaverton, OR, with compensation of $19.50 per hour. The assistant helps the Produce Manager operate a fresh, well-stocked department while supporting customer service, inventory, product handling, and department profitability. The work includes receiving and maintaining certified organic produce and assisting with staff training and customer needs.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service
• maintain an inviting and stocked produce department
• assist with ordering and inventory
• support margin and profitability goals
• keep produce fresh through culling, crisping, rotation, and proper storage
• ensure certified organic produce is ordered and received
• receive orders
• follow up on special orders
• assist with training
• conduct demonstrations
• handle register functions and customer concerns
• clean tools and equipment.
