What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatment by taking vital signs and medical histories and documenting information in the EMR
• enter recalls and handle prescription refills as directed by physicians
• collaborate with healthcare providers and team members
• follow infection control and safety protocols
• triage phone calls
• conduct physician referrals and service pre-certifications as needed
• maintain confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA
• participate in training and professional development.
