Project Engineer III – Transmission

The position supports Booth & Associates’ Transmission Line Engineering team and utility-scale overhead transmission and distribution projects. The role provides technical leadership for transmission and distribution line design, modeling, engineering review, and standards development. It contributes to reliable utility infrastructure by coordinating technical work across engineering, field, and client teams and mentoring junior staff.

What you'll do

• Lead overhead transmission and distribution line design and evaluation
• direct PLS-CADD modeling and structural and electrical clearance analysis
• review and stamp engineering plans, specifications, and equipment selections
• develop firm and client engineering standards
• coordinate with internal stakeholders, field personnel, and clients
• prepare technical reports, calculations, and correspondence
• oversee and mentor junior staff.
