The Mechanical HVAC Engineering Project Manager role is hybrid in Chantilly, VA, with flexibility based on project needs. Base salary is $120,000–$160,000, with a discretionary bonus. The role is recruited exclusively by Luxus for EK Fox & Associates, an engineering and design firm focused on mission-critical environments, sustainable infrastructure, and federal facilities. The project manager leads multidisciplinary engineering design projects from pursuit through closeout, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, resources, risk, and quality. The role also serves as a primary client liaison, supports project financial performance, and mentors staff to help deliver technically sound, sustainable projects.

What you'll do

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering design teams from pursuit through closeout
• manage scope, schedule, and budget
• form project teams and develop work breakdown structures, storyboards, and communication plans
• coordinate contracts, invoicing, margins, and job-cost reporting
• manage workstreams, risks, issues, and QA/QC
• advise clients and monitor performance
• track project status and deliverables
• mentor staff
• conduct lessons-learned reviews.
